About the Event
For over 100 years, movies have been part of our cultural lifeblood, bringing us together in theatres and at other screens to enjoy great stories that entertain and enlighten us. This talk will review movies that can bring together family members of all ages, from Casablanca to classic Disney films, from Raiders of the Lost Ark to Apollo 13.
The list of movies you and your family can enjoy together is endless! Attend this talk to hear some suggestions for good family movies and share your most vivid movie memories with others.
Our speaker is Dan Sherman, Ph.D., whose interests include opera and American musical theatre. Since 2010, Dan has taught numerous groups about classical composers and musical theatre composers and lyricists.
